About Us

Humane Society of Cedar Creek Lake - HSCCL was established in 1983 as a non-profit to serve the people and animals of Henderson and Kaufman counties, and its surrounding municipalities. We rescue and care for over 2,500 animals annually! Our mission is to promote the humane treatment of animals through care, humane education and advocacy.

Friends of the Animals - FOA at Cedar Creek Lake is a non-profit organization providing an affordable approach to care for dogs and cats in the community. Since 2002 we have performed 36,000 spay/neuter surgeries; thus preventing over 282 BILLION unwanted litters of kittens and puppies.
